Faculty collaborate on book

Professor Emeritus David Trauger and Visiting Professor Brian Czech collaborated with J. Edward Gates on “Peak Oil, Economic Growth, and Wildlife Conservation.” Written for a broad audience, it is the only book known to combine the three topics into a single narrative, encouraging readers to act to effect positive change in how global civilization interacts with the biosphere and humanity’s co-inhabitants — the millions of species composing Earth’s biodiversity. Released in both hardcopy and e-book versions, the book is also available in the e-packages that are licensed to thousands of universities and organizations through SpringerLink.
