Alumni, donors, and friends: you are a part of everything we do

You have the ideas, the drive, and the know-how to preserve our resources and build capacity for the future. You have a role in transforming the college, the university, and this world without boundaries. You are the leaders who will show up and whose voices will be heard.

Together, we are a force for positive change.

“We have people who are passionate about the natural world and our resources and conservation. I think that’s really what sets us apart.”

-Paul M. Winistorfer, dean of the college

Help out the next generation of Hokies

Emmanuel Frimpong

You’re probably familiar with the concept of paying it forward; to us, that means helping a Hokie. You may have met alumni when you were a student who had an impact on your career choice or who you still call on for advice. Now you can do the same for the next generation. Here are a few ways:

  • Contact your CNRE department or a former professor about being a guest speaker
  • Ask your employer to create an internship program or have a table at the CNRE Career Fair
  • Attend the networking session prior to the CNRE Career Fair
  • Donate a suit to Career Outfitters
