Leadership Institute

The 2013-14 Leadership Institute student cohort winter break trip included stops in Richmond, Charlottesville, and Washington, D.C., where the students met with policymakers in state and federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and private industry, as well as representatives of Virginia’s elected delegation. During a very busy week of travel, the students experienced organizational, political, and agency processes, and leadership at all levels.
