Promotions and tenure

Nov. 13, 2015 – The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors has granted several college faculty promotions and approvals for tenure. Promotion to professor, collegiate faculty: Brian Bond and Urs Buehlmann, sustainable biomaterials. Promotion to professor, extra-collegiate faculty: Andrew Dolloff, fish and wildlife conservation; and John McGee, forest resources and environmental conservation. Promotion to associate professor, extra-collegiate faculty: Jess Jones, fish and wildlife conservation. Promotion to associate professor with tenure: Jason Holliday and Brian Strahm, forest resources and environmental conservation. Promotion to assistant professor: Laszlo Horvath and Young Kim, sustainable biomaterials.
