The annual CNRE Career Fair connects current students and our employer partners seeking to fill full-time or part-time positions as well as internships. Each year, hundreds of career-ready students from our college and across Virginia Tech visit with employers. Mark your calendar and register for the events listed below and then review the specific information for students and employers.

Details about the CNRE Career Fair for students

  • Employers will have virtual “booths” at the career fair. You can visit these areas to chat with employers of interest.
  • You may also be invited to participate in a live video chat, so make sure you wear business/professional attire for the event.
  • Make sure you register to attend the training session prior to the career fair so you know how the Brazen platform works and what you can do to get the most out of this experience. You can watch a 5-minute overview of the Brazen platform:

Details about the CNRE Career Fair for employers

  • Employers will have virtual “booths” at the career fair. Students will enter your space to chat.
  • Employers can also invite students to a video chat.
  • Learn best practices and tips for interacting with students. Watch a 2-minute demo of the Brazen platform:
  • If you need additional help navigating Brazen, try these links for more information about participating in an event as a representative or completing your employer booth in six easy steps. You can also email John Freeborn for assistance.
  • Students will be able to upload their resumes on the platform so that you can access them.
  • The event is open to all Virginia Tech students.
  • Registration is required for employers.
  • Refund/cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your registration, please email If you email before Friday, February 12, 2021, you will receive a full refund. From February 12 to Wednesday, February 24, a $50.00 administrative fee will be retained for cancellations. After February 24, 2021, there are no refunds for cancellations. In the unlikely circumstance that this event is canceled due to insufficient registrations or unforeseen circumstances, the university will refund your registration fee. However, Virginia Tech cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, cancellation fees, or other charges.
