Department Changes Name

The college’s wood science and forest products department has changed its name to the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials. The new name, which became effective on Feb. 1, 2012, more accurately reflects the wide scope of education and research being done by the department and aligns with the college’s broader transition in recent years toward an increased emphasis on sustainability and the environment.
