Stephanie Hart, director of the college’s Advising Center, has received a Hokie Wellness Supervisor Spotlight Award for encouraging and supporting healthy habits. The staff members who nominated Hart praised her for modeling and encouraging a culture of wellness in the center, empowering others, promoting growth and development, and stimulating teamwork while also being sensitive to an individual’s personal needs.

“I am so honored that the staff members took the time to nominate me for this award,” Hart said. “I believe strongly in servant leadership and that a large part of my role as a supervisor is to serve those I work with.”
