Major: Building Construction

Expected Graduation Date: December 2018

  • Tracks: Virtual Design Construction + Sustainable Building Performance
  • Minor: Real Estate

I am a Junior at Virginia Tech in the Myers-Lawson School of Construction. I am pursuing a Bachelors degree in Building Construction with a concentration in Virtual Design Construction and Sustainability. I am also minoring in Real Estate. I have jumped around many majors at Virginia Tech, but I have finally found a home for me to pursue my degree. I have really enjoyed my time at Virginia Tech love the people, environment, and opportunities that are offered here. I have been a member of VT Expressions and recently the Construction Consortium. I am currently a part of U.S. Department of Energy Race to Zero team here at Virginia Tech. My goal is to be successful in whatever I do in life and to help impact the world in a positive way. I would like to be involved in sustainability efforts within my building construction career in the future and I would love to help innovate more integrated sustainable process in the field. No matter how my vision changes the goal will remain the same, which is to impact the world and be a positive factor to anyone that enters my life.
