Undergraduate Student

Jason Eng

Major: Geoscience - Geochemistry Option

Expected Graduation Date: May 2017

  • Minor: Chemistry

My name is Jason Eng, and I am a senior from Columbia, Maryland. I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in geoscience with a focus in geochemistry. At Virginia Tech, I have been involved with the Chinese American Society where I have served as treasurer and am now serving as vice president. This has helped me make a positive impact on the Asian American community as well as nurturing my leadership skills. After graduation, my career goal is to become an environmental consultant where I wish to help people make environmentally conscious decisions and expand their knowledge on achieving a sustainable future in their local community. My goal at the sustainability institute is to develop and expand my professional and networking skills which I can use in any field of work as well as work with others who share common interests and goals.
