Katelin Shugart-Schmidt

Feb. 15, 2013 – Katelin Shugart-Schmidt ('12 M.S. in fisheries and wildlife sciences) was selected to give the student address at the December commencement. Shugart-Schmidt, who was named the 2012 Graduate Woman of the Year, plans to pursue work in the marine policy field in Washington, D.C., where she hopes to work alongside legislators to help turn scientific discoveries into meaningful environmental practices.)
