In memoriam: Robert Abraham (’53)

Aug. 15, 2017 – Robert “Bob” Abraham (’53 B.S. forestry and wildlife), a renowned wildlife photographer, passed away on May 28, 2017, at the age of 89. Abraham worked for the U.S. Forest Service out west after graduating, but returned to Christiansburg, where he founded a printing company that was family owned for 50 years.

In January, Abraham donated a collection of 32 framed wildlife prints to the college; they now hang in the conference room on the first floor of Cheatham Hall. Read more about Abraham’s life and his love of the outdoors in this feature story that appeared in the fall 2015 issue of CNRE News.
