Pete Bettinger (’87, ’89) honored at University of Georgia


Feb. 1, 2017 – Alumnus Pete Bettinger was awarded the University of Georgia’s Creative Research Medal, which recognizes outstanding research or creative activity that focuses on a single theme identified with the university. Bettinger, a professor of landscape planning and harvest scheduling at UGA, earned his bachelor’s in forestry in 1987 and his master’s in forest economics and management in 1989 from Virginia Tech.
