Brian Bosworth (’94) wins best paper award


Nov. 15, 2014 – Brian Bosworth (’94 Ph.D. fisheries and wildlife sciences) received the 2013 North American Journal of Aquaculture Best Paper Award.

Bosworth is a research geneticist with the USDA Agriculture Research Service’s Warmwater Aquaculture Research Unit in Stoneville, Mississippi. He is focus on the development of catfish with improved performance for economically important traits such as growth, fillet yield, and disease resistance. He also manages a research processing facility to provide processing yield and meat quality data to other researchers and commercial producers.
