Urban Forestry Minor

The minor in Urban Forestry is ideal for students majoring in related disciplines such as traditional forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture, and urban planning.  In this interdisciplinary curriculum, students gain knowledge and skills in dendrology, forest ecology, arboriculture, and urban forestry.  This coursework complements students’ primary expertise and provides basic competencies to manage and utilize forest resources in urbanized areas.  For more information, contact Dr. Susan Day or Dr. Eric Wiseman in the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation.
