Outdoor Recreation Field Studies
This intensive field experience is required for Natural Resource Recreation students, but is open to all undergraduates in the College of Natural Resources and Environment. Class meets weekly throughout the spring semester and includes multiple field experiences including two extended field trips: during spring break, and at the end of the semester following exams. These field experiences allow students to see first hand how natural resource professionals manage and protect sensitive lands, special park lands and wilderness areas—and provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
